John Renesch

John ReneschAuthor of Getting to the Better Future and editor of a dozen other books, John Renesch is a pioneer in the global movement to bridge the worlds of leadership, work and sustainable futures. The Futurist calls him a "business visionary." Warren Bennis calls him "a wise elder who shines with wisdom." He has been featured in Business Week, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The Nikkei Financial Times, Industry Week, and Chief Executive. He has appeared on NPR, Business Talk Radio, and CNBC-TV.

Renesch is a founding fellow of the Global Collaborators Alliance, an invitational network of 74 thinkers from six continents. He is on the faculty at the Center for Leadership Studies, serves on the advisory board of the Sustainable Futures Foundation, and was the inaugural board chair of the Foresight Network, a project of the international organization Shaping Tomorrow.

After four decades in the real estate investment industry, Renesch took the helm at San Francisco publisher New Leaders Press. He edited or co-edited a dozen anthologies highlighting the global power and responsibility of business and featuring contributions by Ken Blanchard, Norman Lear, Tom Peters, Mikhail Gorbachev, and many others.

He was co-creator and original host of The Presidio Dialogues, a monthly series of evening gatherings in San Francisco focused on transformational aspects of business, with a strong focus on its role in healing the planet.
